Fractures
Trauma character, particularly the intensity of traumatic agent upon the bone tissue, affects the course of reparative processes in osteal wounds. Our studies showed that among the reasons causing disorders in synosteosis the morpho-functional cell changes took an important place, because they form the bone tissue and provide synosteosis in fracture site. These changes in bone cells are caused by direct powerful influence of traumatic agent upon the bone (strike of automobile bumper in traffic accident, moving items of machine, heard things dropped on the limbs or strong blow on a limb by any object that causes the fracture). Also our studies proved that stem cell are able to recover or replace the function of damaged cells and rehabilitate the integrity of the injured bone. The reasons of long-term absence of synosteosis are bone tissue defects.
To renew the integrity of bone tissue the transplantation of autologous mezenchymal stromal (stem) cells is carried out in the region of fracture.
If there is a slit-like diastasis between the bone fragments stem cell transplantation is carried out by injection method (suspension). If there are ununited fractures having bone tissue defects the transplantation is carried out by means of osteoprogenitor transplantat and multicomponent collagen gel. Any case the choice of stem cell transplantation method is made by orthopedist-traumatologist.
We have proved that transplantation of autologous mezenchymal stem cells in the cases of reparative osteogenesis disorders and bone tissue defects have high clinic efficiency, enable to recover the affected reparative processes in the bone wound and create new bone tissue in the region of defect.

| The broken bone of the left tibia with angle deformation has not been knitted during 1,5 years | After removal of angle deformations the transplantation of autologous stem cells (osteoprogenitor transplantat) was performed. The area of transplantation is indicated by arrow. Renovation of the bone tissue took place in 5 months after transplantation |

What should I do if I make decision to have stem cell therapy course in ICB “Biostem”?
Free consultation about fractures treatment: Tel: +38 (062) 385 75 28, +38 (050) 948 99 79
Stem cell therapy course includes:
- The bone marrow intake. The first hospitalization will take 3 days: examination for the presence of any contraindications; the intake of the bone marrow out of the iliac bone of the patient
- The first injection. We invite the patient for the first injection in 2-3 weeks (the exact time is individual and depends on the proliferate growth of stem cells culture). The hospitalization will take 2 days.
- The second injection. Usually takes place in 3-6 month after the first injection (the exact time depends on clinical indications). The hospitalization will take 2 days.
- The third injection. Usually takes place in 3-6 month after the second injection (the exact time depends on clinical indications). The hospitalization will take 2 days.
